the vineyards of the vulkanland region
One thing all the vineyards of the Krispel Winery have in common is basalt. But that’s not the whole story. The Rosenberg has the maximum share of limestone in the centre of the slope while that in the Neusetzberg is thickest with a depth of up to 5 metres of weathered basalt soil on a limestone base. In the case of the Hochstrandl, however, there is a greater proportion of clay but not so much of the red clay.
why not stay a while?
It is also possible to immerse yourself in the world of the Krispels for longer. So when the sun goes down, there is no need to hurry home. You can stay here in one of our seven recently renovated guest rooms and relax.
